Our Mission
The Arizona Hydration Project is a youth-led community health initiative dedicated to preventing dehydration and heat-related illness across Arizona. In a state where extreme heat poses a growing risk to public health, we work to increase access to hydration resources while educating communities on safe hydration and heat awareness.
Through the distribution of reusable hydration kits, mobile hydration stations, and short heat-safety workshops, we serve individuals most vulnerable to heat exposure, including seniors, outdoor workers, and underserved communities. Our goal is to provide practical tools and clear, accessible education that help Arizonans stay safe during extreme heat.
By combining direct service with health literacy, the Arizona Hydration Project aims to reduce preventable heat-related emergencies and empower communities with the knowledge and resources they need to stay healthy in the desert.
